
Slone Pearson is a graduate of the University of Oregon with a B.S. in General Science with a concentration in Biochemistry and earned her J.D. at Suffolk University Law School with distinction in Intellectual Property. Ms. Pearson was the Lead Articles Editor on the Journal of High Technology Law and the founding Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Health and Biomedical Law. She is a member of the American, Oregon and Multnomah County Bar Associations.
Ms. Pearson is licensed to practice law in Oregon and Massachusetts. She specializes in U.S. export and customs law. Her expertise encompasses the Export Administration Regulations, International Trade of Arms Regulations, CustomÕs Regulations, Foreign Trade Statistic, Foreign Assets Treasury Control Regulations, US Harmonized Tariff Codes, US Schedule B Codes and import and export regulations within the jurisdiction of the US Fish & Wildlife, Food and Drug Administration, Environmental Protection Agency, Drug Enforcement Agency, and Department of Agriculture. Ms. Pearson is an active presenter at conferences and is a member in several international trade and compliance organizations.
In addition to her trade regulation practice, Ms. Pearson maintains a practice in intellectual property, antitrust, general business, trade litigation, and general business litigation.
